Everywhere we turn, the consequences of exploitation, war, and greed are impossible to ignore. In the United States, the Trump administration is terrorizing immigrant families, rolling back civil rights, and gutting social services. Abroad, this same administration is fueling genocide, war, and militarism – pushing humanity closer to the brink of global conflict. But Trump’s agenda is only one symptom of a system that has always prioritized profit over human wellbeing, and that is controlled by a very small ruling class willing to sacrifice humanity for the sake of their own greed and wealth.

A better system of organizing society is not only possible, it is necessary. And if we are organized, we can build a society that serves and prioritizes the needs of the majority, the everyday working people who make the world run. That system is socialism: a system in which the working class holds political power, and the economy is planned to meet the needs of the people and the planet.

Through a collective study and discussion of history, theory, and science, we will explore socialism’s proposals and the real potential for a socialist revolution in the United States; one that could begin to lift the burden of war and oppression from the people of the world. Together, we will define a people’s vision for a society where power is in the hands of the working class, not the billionaires. That vision can become a reality, but only if we organize to build it.

  • All Power to the People: A Summer School for Socialism is a six-week hybrid course that brings together organizers, activists, and anyone committed to building a better future.

More than just a class, this program is a call to action -  how do we understand our current context, define our future, and take steps to get there? Through bi-weekly class sessions, discussions, and collective study, participants will strengthen their ability to analyze history and current events, study the lessons of revolutionary working class movements, and clarify a collective vision for the future. Whether you are new to organizing, or already involved in an organization, this course is a space to meet new friends and organizers, study, discuss and chart a path forward.
