Everywhere we turn, the consequences of exploitation, war, and greed are impossible to ignore. In the United States, the Trump administration is terrorizing immigrant families, rolling back civil rights, and gutting social services. Abroad, this same administration is fueling genocide, war, and militarism – pushing humanity closer to the brink of global conflict. But Trump’s agenda is only one symptom of a system that has always prioritized profit over human wellbeing, and that is controlled by a very small ruling class willing to sacrifice humanity for the sake of their own greed and wealth.
A better system of organizing society is not only possible, it is necessary. And if we are organized, we can build a society that serves and prioritizes the needs of the majority, the everyday working people who make the world run. That system is socialism: a system in which the working class holds political power, and the economy is planned to meet the needs of the people and the planet.
Through a collective study and discussion of history, theory, and science, we will explore socialism’s proposals and the real potential for a socialist revolution in the United States; one that could begin to lift the burden of war and oppression from the people of the world. Together, we will define a people’s vision for a society where power is in the hands of the working class, not the billionaires. That vision can become a reality, but only if we organize to build it.

SPARK! Organizing for Revolution: Revolutionary Summer School @ TPF was a six-week hybrid course for organizers, visionaries, and all who are committed to struggle to build a new world. Through bi-weekly classroom sessions, discussion, and developing a practice of revolutionary study, participants developed their methodology to analyze the past and present, built capacity for organized struggle by studying examples of revolutionary processes around the world, and clarified a collective vision for the future.
This program was based on the methodology of popular and political education, and on the politics of working-class internationalism.
