Module 3
How Imperialist Wars End
The past year, millions, across all continents, have risen up in protest against the Zionist and imperialist occupation of Palestine and with an urgent demand to end the US-Israeli led genocidal war. For the millions entering the struggle, the burning question is how can imperialist war end? To begin to answer this question, we turn again to revolutionary history and examine the key strategies, tactics of the forces that refused to submit their future to oppression. Our scientific study of history drives our conviction that though the path is uncertain, victory can be achieved for all in the struggle against imperialism today.

How Vietnam Won
For decades, the Vietnamese people defended their homeland from imperialist aggression from some of the largest powers - Japan, France and the U.S – emerging victorious through immense sacrifice and struggle. How did a small and oppressed people defeat imperialism? How did the battle unfold in the belly of the beast, inside the US empire? And what was the role of the international movement in solidarity and against war? We will investigate these questions and more as we study the world historic victory of the Vietnamese people in defeating far better-equipped colonial and imperial forces – and the lessons it teaches us for our ongoing struggle today!

Why Palestine Will Win
The new era of the Palestinian resistance took the world by storm, putting liberation concretely on the horizon and exposing the weaknesses and deficiencies of US imperialism and the Israeli occupation. But this is not a new reality– the attempts to finally defeat the Palestinian resistance have failed for over 76 years. How has the resistance endured despite the disproportionate wealth and military strength of the occupation? What role did revolutionary organizations play in the accumulation of experiences and the mobilization of the masses? What can we learn from the past to look forward at what is to come next?
