Week 2. Pan Africanism: Foundations and Proposals
Pan Africanism is rooted in a rich and extensive history. It developed out of the struggles of individuals and organizations, as well as common ideas, throughout Africa and the diaspora, including abolitionist movements across the Americas and the Haitian Revolution. These struggles for the liberation of Africa and people of African descent laid the foundation for the development of Pan Africanism and have contributed to the expansion of Pan African thought and practice.
